We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK and German markets for our health and wellness portfolio. The role focuses on expanding distribution, securing listings, and building strong commercial partnerships with chain pharmacies, franchise pharmacies, and specialty health retail stores
.
This is a hands-on commercial role suited for a sales professional with proven experience in vitamins, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, or OTC healthcare products
, and a strong understanding of the European health retail landscape.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the UK and Germany
- Drive listings and sales with chain and franchise pharmacies (e.g. Guardian, Watsons, Boots, Apotheke chains) and specialty health stores
- Build and manage relationships with key retail buyers, distributors, and strategic partners
- Execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches, promotions, and commercial negotiations
- Manage distributor performance where applicable, ensuring sales targets and coverage are met
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform commercial strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, marketing, regulatory, and supply planning
- Achieve agreed sales targets and growth objectives
- 5–10+ years of sales or business development experience in health and wellness products
, such as: - Vitamins and supplements
- Dietary supplements / nutraceuticals
- OTC consumer healthcare products
- Proven track record of selling into organized retail
, particularly: - Specialty health and wellness retailers
- Strong understanding of UK and/or German pharmacy and health retail markets
- Experience working with regulated product categories
, including basic knowledge of compliance and claims - Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Self-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently across markets
