Role Overview

We’re looking for a high-performing Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our Events Sales team at TM Forum on a 6-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages to both existing TM Forum member organizations and new prospects. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, driving new business, and contributing to the continued success of our global events portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell sponsorship and exhibition packages across TM Forum’s global events.
  • Build strong relationships with existing member accounts and support their ongoing success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outreach to non-member vendors.
  • Conduct market and industry research to align sales strategy with client needs and trends.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to wider team objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and operations teams to deliver strong value propositions.
  • Represent TM Forum at events (virtual and in-person) as needed.
  • Manage client accounts onsite and lead rebooking efforts.
  • Understand and communicate how TM Forum’s event products align with industry priorities and client goals.
  • Tailor presentations and proposals to reflect client needs and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in event sponsorship sales.
  • Proven success in both account management and new business generation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, pitching, and closing skills.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and CLM systems is an advantage.
  • A passion for delivering excellent client service.
  • Telecoms or tech industry knowledge is a plus but not essential.
