Location:

Belfast (covering Northern Ireland)
Salary: £34,000 per annum + OTE bonus (circa 10%)

Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected company within the Food Service Division, for an experienced Sales Representative to support and grow their hospitality customer base across Northern Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales, ideally within the food service, hospitality, fresh produce, FMCG or wholesale supply sectors.

The Role

The successful candidate will initially focus on managing and developing existing accounts, while also identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, particularly within hotels, restaurants, catering providers and premium hospitality businesses.

You will act as the face of the business within your territory, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring long-term customer retention and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing hospitality and food service clients
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across Northern Ireland
  • Build strong working relationships with chefs, kitchen managers and business owners
  • Promote and advise on product availability, seasonality and fresh produce ranges
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Monitor pricing, margins and customer requirements in a competitive market
  • Liaise closely with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Provide a high level of account management and customer support
The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 10 years' sales experience, ideally within the food service or hospitality sector
  • Proven background in B2B sales and account management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously
  • Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset
  • Passion for fresh food and customer service
  • Full UK driving licence essential
