Business Development Manager - Builders Merchant Join a market-leading builders' merchant and help drive growth across Northern Ireland Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities across Northern Ireland. This is a field-based role, and we are open to candidate locations across Northern Ireland.

About you Proven experience in a field-based sales, business development or account management role Previous experience within the builders' merchant, construction materials, building products or related sector Strong understanding of the construction, contractor, developer and trade customer market Ability to build long-term customer relationships and identify growth opportunities Commercially aware with strong negotiation and influencing skills Self-motivated and target-driven with excellent organisational skills Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland What you'll do Identify and secure new business opportunities across the construction and building sectors Develop and grow relationships with contractors, developers, house builders, trade professionals and key accounts Maximise sales opportunities across a broad range of building materials and construction products Work closely with branch teams and specialist departments to deliver exceptional customer service Conduct regular customer visits, site meetings and business reviews Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline reports for management Represent the business professionally and promote its products, services and values in the marketplace For further information For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
