The successful candidate will take control of the County Down territory and play a key role in expanding the customer base, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing customers across a designated territory.
Roles & Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and field-based sales activity Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and customer retention Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings to understand operational requirements and identify sales opportunities Generate qualified leads and develop a healthy sales pipeline across key sectors including construction, engineering, manufacturing, and industrial markets Promote a comprehensive range of tools, equipment, consumables, and associated services to both new and existing customers Deliver product demonstrations and provide customers with tailored solutions to meet their business needs Work closely with internal sales, service, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support ongoing business development initiatives Represent the business at trade events, customer open days, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
Essential Criteria Previous experience in a sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing role Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Proven ability to identify opportunities and generate new business Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple opportunities Are currently working in a field sales role Full clean driving licence with flexibility to travel throughout the territory of County Down Desirable Criteria
