Role Overview

As an SDR at Barclay Communications, your role is to create and qualify new business opportunities through outbound sales campaigns.

You’ll be the first point of contact with potential clients, responsible for generating interest in our services and booking meetings for our Business Development teams.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced B2B technology environment. If you’re highly motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively reach out to potential business customers via targeted phone, email, and Linked In campaigns.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities across Mobile, Cloud Phone System, Broadband, and IT Managed Services.
  • Understand customer pain points and match them to our service offerings.
  • Book qualified meetings for the business development team.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and competitor activity.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales or telesales role (B2B or B2C).
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a desire to meet and exceed targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools.
  • Positive, resilient, and coachable attitude.
  • Experience in the Telecoms or IT sector.
  • Familiarity with selling mobile, broadband, or VoIP services.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platform.
