SMB Account Manager at Block.

Join the Square Account Management team to guide merchants through the product ecosystem and offer strategic business advice. You will manage a dedicated book of business, fostering long-term relationships while identifying new ways for customers to utilize Square tools to reach their goals.

• Manage and grow a customer base representing multi-million dollar Gross Payment Volume.
• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand product adoption.
• Resolve customer concerns through strategic problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product departments to optimize the merchant experience.
• Act as a product specialist to provide actionable feedback to internal product managers.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of the managed accounts program.

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in account management or sales.
• Proven track record of managing a pipeline to hit revenue targets.
• Experience building client relationships and closing sales leads.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Interest in business operations and the application of technology for small and medium-sized enterprises.

• Proficiency with Salesforce.
