Senior Tendering Engineer

Reports to:

Commercial Lead Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Working Pattern:
Flexible based on candidate. Open to two days a month on site. Main purpose of the role:
To prepare accurate, commercially sound tender submissions and major project quotations, while providing technical support to customers, the Business Development Manager and the wider tendering team.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Major Project quotations based on customer enquiries, wherever possible adhering to specification and schematic Completion of general arrangement drawings to support quotations Working to (wherever possible) agreed quality objectives in terms of quotation response and prioritising wherever possible those enquiries with a high probability of success Liaise with customers & Business Development Manager to ensure we correctly interpret their requirements Provide support to the Business Development Manager in terms of quotation progress / requotes and/or customer visits Utilise Pipedrive to record quotations, customer contact and feedback When required, provide supporting commentary to the Business Development Manager highlighting anomalies, exclusions and also VE opportunities.
