Senior Sales Manager

G1 Search has been exclusively retained by a well-established business operating within the wider commercial projects market to appoint a Senior Sales Manager. This is an opportunity for an accomplished B2B sales professional to take ownership of developing new and existing customer relationships across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will operate within a relationship-led environment, engaging with businesses and professional partners across the design, construction, property and corporate sectors.

The role combines new business development with the management and growth of existing customer relationships. A key focus will be identifying commercial opportunities, developing a strong pipeline and building relationships that translate into sustainable sales growth. Working closely with colleagues across the wider business, the Senior Sales Manager will take a consultative approach to sales, developing opportunities from initial engagement and understanding customer requirements through to proposal and successful delivery.

This appointment is not dependent on experience within one particular industry. Of greater importance is a strong B2B sales track record, commercial judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships, identify opportunities and convert them into business.

Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities across Northern Ireland Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers Develop a strong network of commercial and professional relationships across the market Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate commercial solutions Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to proposal and successful conversion Develop account plans and identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, presentations and industry events Collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to deliver a high-quality customer experience Required Experience Proven track record in B2B sales, combining new business development and account management Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and successfully convert new commercial opportunities Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop credibility with senior customers and professional stakeholders Strong commercial awareness with the ability to recognise opportunities and understand customer requirements
