Competitive salary We are recruiting for an ambitious and proactive Internal Sales Executive to join a growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities. Working closely with Regional Account Managers, you will play a key role in developing customer accounts, converting quotations, and reactivating dormant business.

Day-to-day of the role:
Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of customers through regular outbound telephone activity. Build strong customer relationships and act as a key point of contact for sales enquiries. Follow up and convert open quotations, recording outcomes and reasons for lost business. Identify customers with declining spend and implement strategies to recover and grow accounts. Reactivate dormant and no-sale accounts through targeted engagement.

Promote sales campaigns and product offers to generate additional business opportunities. Identify and maximise cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the product portfolio. Work towards individual sales, margin, and customer development targets. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within the CRM system. Collaborate closely with Regional Account Managers to ensure effective account coverage. Provide customer insights, market intelligence, and sales opportunities to the wider sales team.

Arrange customer appointments and sales visits where appropriate. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements. Prepare reports on sales activity, quote conversion, and revenue recovery. Attend customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events across the UK when required. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an Internal Sales, Telesales, Account Management, or Customer Service role.

Experience with in the automotive, motor factor, engineering, or technical sector would be advantageous. Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills. Confident and professional telephone manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and CRM systems. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commercially aware with an understanding of sales, margin, and profitability objectives.

Target-driven with a resilient and proactive approach to sales. Good numerical skills and ability to analyse sales data. Full UK driving licence preferred and willingness to travel occasionally. Benefits:
