Assistant Sales ManagerHours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 18:00with 1 hour break unpaid, plus 1 in 2 Saturdays 09:30 to 16:30
Location: Richmond
Base Salary: £28,500
OTE: £55,000
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support the continued success of a high-performing residential sales team in Richmond.
You’ll play a key role in leading, coaching and motivating the team, while also contributing to new business generation, winning instructions and growing market share. The ideal candidate will have strong local estate agency experience, a proven track record of achieving sales targets and previous experience of supporting or managing a team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop the sales team, creating a positive and high-performing environment
- Set and manage individual and team targets, objectives and KPIs
- Monitor performance and provide regular feedback, coaching and support
- Support the branch in achieving revenue and profitability targets
- Provide accurate and timely management information
- Take ownership of escalated complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively
- Ensure company processes, policies, legislation and compliance requirements are followed
- Monitor local competitor activity and use market insight to identify opportunities for growth
- Support the development and execution of the branch business plan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and local contacts
- Lead by example in winning new business and converting market appraisals
- Previous experience within residential estate agency, ideally with strong knowledge of the Richmond market
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Previous experience of leading, coaching or developing a sales team
- Strong understanding of the local property market and competitor landscape
- Established network of local contacts
- Strong market appraisal and instruction-conversion skills
- Good knowledge of relevant property legislation and compliance
- Commercially minded, with a focus on revenue, performance and business growth
- Confident communicator with strong leadership and relationship-building skills
