Job Description
A well-established maritime technology business is looking to appoint a Sales Manager to drive new business and develop customer relationships across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected business within the marine technology sector, where you will develop new opportunities, build relationships with key maritime customers and contribute to continued commercial growth. In this role, you will focus primarily on new business development, while managing existing relationships and taking opportunities through the full sales cycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing new business across the UK maritime market
Building relationships with shipowners, ship managers and other maritime customers
Managing opportunities from initial prospecting through to order
Maintaining a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts
Supporting proposals, bids and commercial negotiations
Working closely with internal teams to meet customer requirements
Monitoring market developments and identifying new opportunities
Regular UK travel with occasional overseas travel To be considered, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in maritime sales or business development
Experience selling technical products, equipment or servicesA strong understanding of marine technology and equipment
An established network within the UK maritime industryA proven track record of winning new business
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skillsA proactive and commercially driven approachA full UK driving licence
Experience with in marine electronics, navigation, communications or a related technical marine environment would be advantageous.
