Technical Sales Representative

VANRATH is recruiting a Technical Sales Representative for a market-leading supplier of automatic doors, access control, security doors and building hardware. The role sits in their Service Division, based in Belfast and covering parts of Northern Ireland.

This is a great opportunity for someone from a service sales background who wants to build a long-term career with an established business. Full product training is provided.

• Close and grow service sales opportunities in line with agreed targets
• Follow up with customers on the status of proposals and quotations
• Manage and update quotations on the CRM system
• Prospect for new customers to keep a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Grow revenue from the existing client base while developing new revenue streams
• Follow up on monthly SLAs with customers to secure purchase orders
• Update and present monthly sales reports
• Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the business
• Take part in ongoing product and sales training

• At least 2 years' service sales experience
• Experience in automatic doors or access control is an advantage but not essential
• Confidence presenting solutions on the phone and face to face
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the drive to hit targets
• Well organised, able to prioritise in a busy service environment
• Strong communication and MS Office skills
• A team player who can pick up new products quickly
