We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the team as Airport Security Agents. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of the most vital stage of a passenger’s journey, helping ensure they travel safely and securely while delivering excellent customer service.

Shift Patterns Available for an Airport Security Officer at Belfast International Airport BT29 4AB- 5 on 3 off – Earliest:
All 5 days: 03:00–12:30 - 5 on 3 off – Lates:
All 5 days: 13:45–22:30

To work airside, you must pass:
- CRC
- Access NI (Irish DBS) – candidates pay this upfront; we will reimburse the full cost
- CTC (Counter Terrorism Check)
- Full 5‑year employment/education/address history
- In‑date photo (Passport, Driving Licence, )
- UK residency for the past 3 years
- Full colour vision and hearing
- The minimum age for this role is 18+
The airport will accept candidates who already hold a 5‑year blue pass even if CTC is still pending, provided it can be obtained within a reasonable timeframe.
Security Agent Criteria of an Airport Security Officer at Belfast International Airport BT29 4ABWe are looking for individuals who:
- Have previous airport security or strong customer‑facing experience
- Communicate clearly and stay calm under pressure
- Are punctual, reliable, and consistent
- Are flexible across early and late shifts
- Present a professional image
- Work well independently and in a team
- Passenger screening, x‑ray operation and bag searches – use of equipment and manual search techniques, to ensure no prohibited articles are taken into the airport.
- Access control and /document checks – controlling access to the aerodrome, checking identification or travel documents for all passengers, staff and airport users requiring access.
- Assisting passengers – resolving queries from customers and assisting them with their journey through the airport offering advice where necessary & high levels of customer service.
- Responding to emergency situations
- Patrolling airside and landside areas
- Incident reporting and aircraft guarding
- Escorting duties when required
