- Initial contract of up to 3 years
- £28.53 per hour via Umbrella
- 36 hours per week
- Belfast – fully onsite

WHO WE ARE?
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation seeking an experienced Operational Security & Project Support professional to join its Physical Security Operations team in Belfast.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across security operations, project enablement, supplier management, risk management and continuous improvement, supporting the delivery of critical security, systems, fire and emergency response services across the business.
WHAT WILL THE OPERATIONAL SECURITY & PROJECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL BE DOING?
As an Operational Security & Project Support professional, you'll support the Physical Security Operations team with the delivery and continuous improvement of security services across the organisation.
You'll coordinate physical security project activity, support strategic projects, manage actions and KPIs, and assist with the performance management of third-party security, systems and fire service providers.
Working closely with Site Security Managers and operational stakeholders, you'll help identify opportunities for improvement through auditing, data analysis and root cause investigation, ensuring actions are effectively tracked through to resolution.
You'll also provide security, systems and fire input into projects and events, support risk and issue management, and lead Capex activity on a project basis.
THE OPERATIONAL SECURITY & PROJECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL SHOULD HAVE…
- At least 2 years' experience of project management training or project support
- Background in business administration, operational support or project coordination
- Experience supporting projects within a complex operational environment
- Experience of auditing, process confirmation, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Understanding of KPIs and SLAs
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing business requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comprehensive computer skills, including Microsoft Office and G-Suite
- Ability to track actions, risks, issues and deliverables through to resolution
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience managing contractors or third-party suppliers
- Experience working with security contractors
- Experience with in physical security, facilities, fire safety or emergency response environments
- Experience managing supplier performance against contractual requirements
- Knowledge of security operations and security systems
- Experience with Capex project management
- Experience working with risk management processes
