Semi-skilled Groundworker​/Labourer

Job Summary

We are MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd, a company specialising in restoring properties after pollution incidents and providing pollution response services to the insurance industry. We are currently seeking two Semi‑Skilled Groundworker / Labourer positions based in Northern Ireland. The role involves working on residential oil spill projects, ensuring environmental restoration and safety.

• Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
• Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
• Support ISO
  9001 Quality Management System and ISO
  45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
• Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.

• Experience in a multi‑skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
• Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
• CSCS certification (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre‑employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
