My Client specialises in developing high-performance trading and risk management platforms within the financial services sector. Their suite of products supports equities, options, futures, and proprietary trading operations. As a recognised leader in financial technology, they leverage the latest in cloud and API technologies to deliver real-time insights and seamless integrations in a vibrant, team-oriented environment.

• At least 3 years’ experience in software development, ideally within financial systems but candidates with a strong interest and a willingness to learn finance are also encouraged
• Proficient in C# and .NET framework, with experience working in an Azure cloud environment
• Solid debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues
• Degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field, or practical equivalent experience
• Knowledge of financial protocols (such as FIX or proprietary messaging) is a plus but not essential
• Strong communication skills, capable of managing client expectations and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with excellent project management and organisational abilities

• Develop and enhance APIs, focusing on C#/.NET applications within Azure cloud infrastructure
• Assist in debugging and analysing user APIs, GUIs, and data interfaces (MySQL, REST APIs)
• Collaborate with IT and support teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
• Participate in learning sessions about the company’s financial trading platform and market operations
• Support client onboarding by configuring systems and ensuring smooth integrations
• Contribute to quality assurance efforts, testing, and software improvements
• Take part in rapid development cycles and collaborative engineering discussions
