Test Engineer; Java

Position: Contract Test Engineer (Java)
MCS Group is looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer / Software Developer in Test to join a delivery-focused team on an initial 3-month contract. The contract is very hands-on and is suited to someone coming from a strong Java background with a passion for test automation and quality engineering. The Details:
This role requires prior experience of Java for test automation. Cucumber or Gherkin experience is also required, as is experience of working according to TDD (Test-Driven Development) You will be working closely with developers and QA to design, build, and maintain automated test solutions in a modern engineering environment. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure in a forward-thinking technology company delivering platforms in a complex, data-driven domain Experience working with Playwright / Rest Assured would be beneficial but not essential.

Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite in Belfast Assignment Rate: £450 - £500 per day IR35 :
