ViVA Tech Talent are partnering with a Belfast-based AI software company on one of the most exciting leadership hires we've worked on this year.

They're building genuinely purposeful technology — AI-powered data discovery tools used by some of the world's leading life sciences and healthcare organisations. The mission is real, the product is in market, and they're growing.

This is a hands‑on VP of Engineering reporting directly to the CEO. You'll own the full engineering function — strategy, architecture, delivery, hiring and security — while also being a visible, customer‑facing leader who can hold their own in front of technical buyers and scientific stakeholders.

It's a rare combination of deep technical ownership and commercial influence, at a company where what you build genuinely matters.

• 10+ years engineering experience, at least 3 leading teams of 5+
• A proven track record of hiring and growing high-performing teams
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Must be based in NI, with Right to Work
• Early-stage startup or scale-up background
• Experience shipping AI/ML or LLM-powered features in production
• Life sciences, healthcare or Pharma software background
