Front End Engineer II

Engineer II – Belfast, Northern Ireland

Magnite is looking for an Engineer II to join our Streaming UI team in Belfast. This role involves building mission‑critical React applications for publishers and account managers across the ad‑serving lifecycle.

• Write production‑ready code and unit tests that meet both system and business requirements.
• Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad‑hoc questions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver quality software.
• Support the operation of services in production.

• Extensive experience building and scaling modern, high‑traffic React applications.
• Proficiency in front‑end data handling, including the ability to leverage API mocks and integrate with RESTful services.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX implementation, translating design mocks into high‑fidelity, responsive, reusable components.
• Proven track record of writing production‑ready code and comprehensive unit tests.
• Experience working in a collaborative, distributed engineering environment with U.S. teams.
• Availability during core overlap hours (3pm–5pmGMT) for real‑time collaboration.
• Strong computer science fundamentals—browser performance, state management, asynchronous programming.
• Minimum of a B.S. in CS/EE, Math, Physics, or related field.
• Ability to balance high‑quality development with rapid product delivery.
• Creative problem‑solving skills and an ability to navigate ad‑serving tool complexities.
