Role Summary

We’re looking for a Junior Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to help build the APIs, services, and systems that power our products. This is a great first or second role for someone with solid basics who’s eager to learn and grow fast.

What You’ll Do

Backend Development

  • Help build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js or Python
  • Contribute to microservices that support our AI-powered products.
  • Write clean, tested, and documented code.

Cloud Infrastructure

  • Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud (GCP/Kubernetes) with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Use logging and monitoring tools to help troubleshoot issues.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
  • Take part in code reviews, stand-ups, and team discussions.
What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Backend Development:
    Some hands-on experience with Node.js and Python; basic understanding of REST APIs and async programming.
  • Cloud Exposure:
    Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP a bonus) and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Databases:
    Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Version Control:
    Comfortable with Git and working in a team.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Python scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with React.
  • GraphDB Knowledge.
  • Experience running local LLMs.
