We're working with a major UK organisation delivering secure, enterprise-scale data platforms across defence and national security programmes. This is hands-on engineering in operational environments, where scale, resilience and reliability aren't optional.

** The role*
* Design and build modern data platforms and production-grade pipelines across secure cloud environments  working alongside engineering and architecture teams on high-volume systems that drive real operational outcomes.

** What you'll do*
* - Build scalable pipelines across ingestion, processing and serving layers
- Work with Python, SQL, APIs and distributed data tooling
- Handle structured and unstructured workloads at scale
- Integrate multiple sources into modern cloud platforms
- Collaborate across engineering and delivery on mission-critical programmes

** The environment*
* Python, SQL, Spark, Java or Scala
· AWS, Azure or GCP
· modern distributed and cloud-native architectures

** What we need*
* - Active DV clearance  essential
- Production-scale pipeline experience
- Strong engineering and platform mindset
- Big data tooling and cloud ecosystem exposure
- Comfortable in delivery-focused, secure environments
