Technical Lead – CA Gen Developer / Mainframe Transformation Specialist
Contract:
12 Months
Location:
UK-based, with occasional European travel
Rate:
Up to £550 per day
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / CA Gen Developer to join a major Mainframe-to-Cloud transformation programme on an initial 12-month contract.
You will provide technical leadership across the modernisation of legacy Mainframe applications, working across CA Gen, COBOL and Java within both Mainframe and Cloud environments.
Key Skills & Experience- Strong expertise in CA Gen COBOL (Mainframe) and CA Gen Java (Cloud).
- Proven experience delivering Mainframe-to-Cloud migration and transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of:
- COBOL
- Java
- DB2
- IMS
- JCL
- MS SQL
- Performance engineering
- System analysis
- Experience providing technical leadership within complex transformation programmes.
- Insurance industry experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 12-month contract
- Up to £550 per day
- UK-based role
- Occasional European travel, with expenses paid
