Homa is a global mobile game developer and publisher creating games people love. We partner with studios and internally develop games, having launched over 80 titles, reached over 2 billion downloads, and seen our game All in Hole break into the global top-50 grossing charts. These are milestones, not the finish line.
With deep expertise in product and technology, we built Homa Lab, our proprietary platform that gives developers the market intelligence, data tools, and game tech, with AI built-in, to find product–market fit fast and scale mass-market games into lasting experiences players enjoy for years.
This is our flywheel:
Homa Lab helps studios spot the right ideas early, turn them into games quickly, and reach millions of players. Every launch brings back data and insights that fuel the next hit, making each turn of the loop faster, smarter, and more likely to win. AI supercharges this process, running through everything we do, from everyday tasks to our guiding principles.
What powers the loop is talent density. 220+ people from 30+ nationalities, bringing expertise from the world’s best studios and companies. We uphold ambition, curiosity, humility, and focus, and deliver with speed, excellence, and candor.
Since the start, we’ve raised $165M from Headline, Northzone, Eurazeo, Bpifrance, and the founders of King, Sorare, and Spotify, people who’ve built and backed the games and platforms we admire, now supporting our drive to create the next ones.
At Homa, we are building the next billion-player experiences from the ground up and shaping the future of entertainment.
MissionAs a Lead Economy Designer (Hybrid RPG), you’ll play a key role in shaping the commercial destiny of our RPG portfolio. You won’t be supporting someone else’s economy, you’ll own it. Across multiple live titles, you’ll be the person who decides how players earn, spend, and engage, and your decisions will be the difference between a game that stagnates and one that scales into global top rankings.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Design scalable RPG economy systems: build a core economic model that becomes a replicable strategic asset across titles, not a one-off rebuild per game
- Own the economic impact of every product feature: assess KPI implications before launch, produce risk‑adjusted roadmaps, and ensure the team always knows what’s at stake
- Define pricing, sink/source balancing, and offer targeting strategies: create the full monetization architecture that drives IAP conversion and long‑term player engagement
- Build economy simulations and data models: own all quantitative economy work end‑to‑end, from raw data analysis to live balancing decisions
- Partner directly with studios and publishing teams: translate complex economy frameworks into clear, actionable guidance that small teams can implement without friction
This is a great opportunity to own the economy across multiple live titles simultaneously, a rare scope in this industry, make your impact measurable in revenue and player KPIs, and operate at the intersection of product, game design, and data in a team that moves fast and plays to win.
We are looking for someone with years of experience in free‑to‑play RPG economy design, and the humility, curiosity, ambition, and drive to make an impact fast. You’re a great fit if you have:
- Direct RPG - F2P economy ownership: you’ve designed and driven the core economy of a free‑to‑play RPG title end‑to‑end, not just contributed to sub‑loops
- Strong data analysis skills: SQL is a must; you read game data fluently and translate it into clear economic decisions
- Hands‑on execution mindset: you go into the details, you implement, and you iterate; you don’t hand over a framework and walk away
- Structured thinking and clear documentation: your work is organized, your outputs are legible, and studios can act on what you produce
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal; you can align distributed studio teams remotely without losing clarity or momentum
Bonus points if you have:
- Python or R experience for economic modeling and simulation
- Basic Unity knowledge for direct studio collaboration
- Experience on titles with significant IAP…
