Mulesoft Integration Developer

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in Belfast.

In this role, you will design, develop and support enterprise-grade Mule Soft integrations that enable secure, reliable communication between Salesforce and a range of business-critical platforms. Working alongside architects, engineers, business stakeholders and external partners, you'll translate solution designs into scalable integration services that align with enterprise architecture standards while ensuring high performance, resilience and security.

You’ll take ownership of integration delivery throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to technical discussions, improving development standards and helping deliver innovative solutions that create lasting value for our clients. Supported by an experienced team, you'll continuously develop your expertise while playing a key role in delivering high-quality integration capabilities.

• Develop and deliver secure Mule Soft APIs, connectors and integration flows.
• Build Data Weave transformations for XML and JSON data.
• Collaborate with architects, Salesforce developers, business analysts and integration partners to deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot, test and enhance integrations to maximise performance, resilience and reliability.
• Implement security best practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, API gateways and WS-Security.
• Design robust error handling, retries, message correlation and reliable processing patterns.
• Develop and maintain automated unit tests using MUnit and support system, integration and regression testing.
• Conduct code reviews and produce technical documentation.
• Support controlled build, deployment and defect resolution across development, test and pre-production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by applying Mule Soft and Salesforce best practices aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
