AI Engineer (Applied/Software)
I'm partnering with a leading global consultancy to hire a GenAI Architect who can help major Energy, Resources & Industrials organisations answer those questions.
This is an Associate Director opportunity combining technical architecture, senior client advisory and delivery leadership. You'll shape how clients adopt GenAI, design the platforms behind it and lead teams turning that ambition into working solutions.
The scope includes:
- Defining enterprise GenAI architectures and roadmaps.
- Helping clients identify valuable applications across engineering, operations, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
- Making platform, integration and build-versus-buy decisions.
- Designing for security, governance, reliability and cost.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams and contributing to proposals and new opportunities.
Architecture depth: Experience designing and implementing enterprise AI or GenAI solutions, with the technical judgement to move from experimentation into production.
Industry understanding: Knowledge of Energy, Resources & Industrials businesses and the operational challenges technology needs to solve.
Client credibility: The ability to lead a discovery workshop, explain architectural decisions to an executive team and guide delivery.
Your background could be in consulting or industry. Relevant experience might span cloud AI platforms, RAG, agentic architectures, model deployment, evaluation and AI governance.
The priority is your ability to bring these together around a clear business outcome.
The opportunity offers influence over client architecture, a role in developing the practice’s GenAI offering and responsibility for growing the people around you.
