HGV 2 Driver

Ashton Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced reliable HGV Class 2 Driver. Someone with great communications skills who can liaise with the transport office and the customer as well as giving them exceptional service. You will be responsible for the transportation of goods, much of which is fresh produce.

Position: HGV Class 2 Drivers

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £13.52 per hour

Hours Available: Monday to Friday- 6am to 2:30pm, with alternate Saturdays

Role Responsibility:

• Accurate and timely multi drop delivering of refrigerated fresh produce throughout Northern Ireland and into the South following established routes.
• Delivering excellent Customer Service to customers
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Following safe yard procedures
• Following the schedule for the day
• Making sure goods are delivered safely and efficiently
• Following company logging systems
• Performing any other related duties and specific projects as assigned by senior management and to contribute to the overall aims of North Down Group.
• A clean valid HGV Class 2 Drivers Licence
• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland including a minimum of 1 years' experience in Class 2 driving
• A digital tachograph card and a Drivers full CPC card
• This role requires someone with absolute flexibility due to the nature of the business
• Must have a clean licence
• The ability to demonstrate excellence in customer service
• Knowledge of health and Safety including COSHH
