Class 2 Driver

Zeal Driving Solutions are currently recruiting for 5 HGV Class 2 drivers to join our client in Swadlincote. Our client have a head office in Tamworth but are supporting a large logistics business in Swadlincote, Mercia Park. The role includes driving to site to pick up the truck and completing between 16-18 drops, depending on how local you are. The truck will be loaded in order of deliveries for you, you just need to use a scanner and pump truck upon delivery.

* Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to specified locations. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to road safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and comply with safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status.

Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations at all times. Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling A Valid CPC and Digi Tacho is required.
