Your new role As a Transport Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of transport and waste collection operations.
Working closely with drivers, customers and the Transport Manager, you will ensure smooth and compliant operations across the fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
Transport Planning & Coordination Liaising with customers, drivers and the Transport Manager Monitoring vehicle movements and resolving delays or disruptions Driver Administration Maintaining driver records, licences, CPC qualifications and training documentation Monitoring driver hours and supporting compliance with regulations Managing digi card downloads and reporting Completing weekly driver debriefs Compliance & Record Keeping Maintaining accurate transport documentation and records Ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed correctly Supporting compliance with transport regulations and company procedures Assisting with audits Vehicle & Fleet Administration Scheduling servicing, MOTs, inspections and maintenance Monitoring vehicle defects and arranging prompt repairs Managing vehicle changes on the Operator's Licence What you'll need to succeed Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritise and work under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
