Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Aircraft Waste Removal colleagues to join a well‑respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport.
Please note:
- Successful applicants must hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
- Due to enhanced background checks, this role is only suitable if you have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
- Rate of pay: £12.94 per hour
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
- Shift Timing:
Day Shift - 11:30 am to 18:00 pm - Weekly pay (every Friday)
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
- Free staff car parking
- Consistently deliver the highest level of customer service to cabin crew and airline staff
- Collect waste and recycling directly from aircraft, ensuring prompt and efficient removal
- Carry out ad hoc cleaning tasks to support operational needs
- Correctly segregate waste and cleaning materials in line with recycling and environmental guidelines
- Ensure strict compliance with both airline and airport policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment at all times
- Report any safety concerns, hazards, or irregularities immediately
Shifts are available throughout the year, so full flexibility is required.

- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
- Day 1: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
- Day 2: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
- Day 3: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
- Day 4: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
- Off: 4 days
- Must hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Ability to work well in a team
- Great work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpretational skills
- Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of (current) Address
- 5 Year Address History
- Successful candidates will be required to complete an Access NI after their interview in line with CAA requirements
