As we continue our journey toward becoming Irelands most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as Transport Operational Support.

The working hours will be a rotation of:

06:00 14:00

08:00 - 16:00

14:00 - 22:00

22:00 - 06:00

Shift work is a requirement with Saturday work on a ad hoc basis included 5 out of 7 on a rotational basis.

Joining part of a busy transport team in our Belfast site, the transport operational support team are responsible for (but not limited to) the following.

What youll be doing:

Resource planning

Provide transport support to the warehouse and to the transport schedule

Deal with customer & driver queries

Driver dispatch & de-brief

Undertake other duties within the Transport office / planning function as required

Organising and managing specific elements of the planning function daily.

Accurate data input for use in compilation of KPI reports

Asset tracking

Fuel Monitoring on an MPG file and/or MCS system

Management of scheduled maintenance for fleet

Willingness to substitute for development

Any other duties as and when required

Essential Criteria

Good geographical knowledge

Good working knowledge of systems

Good knowledge of transport operations

Competent in Outlook & Excel

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of warehouse operations
