Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking to take the next step in your career with one of Northern Ireland's leading logistics operations?

We're recruiting for a Transport Line Manager to join a busy distribution site where you'll play a key role in leading transport operations, developing your team and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of goods across the network.

• Salary up to £41,000 depending on experience
• 5% annual performance bonus
• Rotating shifts:
  • 06:00 - 14:30
  • 14:00 - 22:00

As Transport Line Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy transport operation, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, legally and on time while maintaining high operational standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing a large team of drivers and transport colleagues
• Managing daily transport operations to maximise efficiency and customer service
• Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, driver hours, tachograph regulations and Health & Safety requirements
• Monitoring operational performance through KPIs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Managing departmental budgets, payroll and resource planning
• Building strong working relationships across transport, warehouse and wider operational teams
• Supporting strategic initiatives to improve service, efficiency and overall operational performance

You’ll be an experienced transport professional with a proven track record of managing teams within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• A valid Transport Manager CPC (National & International)
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a national logistics or distribution operation
• Experience managing transport teams in a high-volume, customer-focused environment
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation, tachographs, Health & Safety and HACCP
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience with Stratum or CSNX would be advantageous)
