Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Drivers
to become a part of our growing team in
Thrapston
for our customer, an Irish multinational fashion retailer,
Primark
.

You will be contracted to work
45 hours
per week on the shift pattern of
Friday

- Tuesday
with the start time window of
16:00

- 20:00
.

Pay, benefits and more:

• Annual salary of circa£50,000
  (between £49,061 and £51,231 based on a start time, which includes shift allowance and weekend premiums)
• Overtime paid at
  time and a half
  rateafter 45 hours per week or for an extra shift per week

What you will do on a typical day:

• Predominantly single-drop deliveries to Primark stores (occasional 2-3 drop routes)
• Palletised loads, well-planned routes with minimal waiting and quick turnaround on site
• Operate vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently
• Comply with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
