The Job:
With a full spec available on request, the Logistics Co-ordinator will:
Will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our supply chain, ensuring the timely collection and delivery of grocery products while achieving cost-effective transport solutions. Be responsible for planning and coordinating all third-party transport requirements, ensuring compliance with customs and transport regulations, including the Transit Security System (TSS) and HMRC processes. Have excellent attention to detail while you maintain accurate booking schedules for inbound deliveries, facilitating the efficient flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
The Person :
Previous experience in transport planning, logistics, or supply chain management. Experience coordinating third-party haulage providers. A good understanding of transport operations within the grocery or FMCG sector. Knowledge of TSS procedures and customs compliance. Experience managing bonded movements and HMRC customs processes. Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong negotiation and cost-control skills. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with transport management systems. For you:
