A Warehouse Team Member is responsible for carrying out any role required within the warehouse environment to assist in the receipt, production, and dispatch of customer orders. They ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Pick customer orders via handheld terminal, ensuring accuracy and no damage so the customer receives what they expect.
- Work according to the standards highlighted in training to maintain all Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.
- Achieve the agreed productivity targets as instructed by the warehouse team managers.
- Report any issues that may impact order accuracy, order fulfilment or quality to line management immediately.
- Pick Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders following specific criteria covered through training.
- Put away stock as directed: accurately transfer stock from pallet or trolley to the correct location, present the stock correctly to the location (pick face or reserve) as per work instructions.
- Complete replenishment tasks as directed by the warehouse management team.
- Complete short pick requests where trained and tasked.
- Understand and apply the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medical products for Human use (2013/C 343/01), as reflected in our SOP – 1 NWOS GDP 1.1. All staff must be trained in this SOP and receive an annual refresher; additional GDP training will be job specific according to your training matrix.
- Ensure tasks are completed in line with designated Health and Safety policies. If unsure, do not act and raise the issue with line management. Keep working areas clean and tidy, work effectively within the warehouse team, and complete all reasonable requests directed by warehouse management.
