Job Title: Warehouse Team Member / Key User

Department: Operations

Location: Service Centre

Reports To: Warehouse Shift Manager/Hypercare Team

Hours of work: Monday to Friday Shift times 10.30am to 14.30pm

Salary: £12.95 per hr.

Job Purpose

A Warehouse Team Member is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment, to assist in the overall receipt, production and dispatch of customers’ orders. They are responsible for the overall processing of customer orders efficiently and to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick customer orders via handheld terminal ensuring accuracy and no damage, so the customer receives what they expect.
  • Work as per standards highlighted in training to maintain all GDP requirements.
  • Achieve the agreed productivity targets as instructed by warehouse team managers.
  • Report any issues that may impact order accuracy, order fulfilment or quality to line management immediately.
  • Pick Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders in the same way, with specific criteria covered through training.
  • Where tasked, ensure stock is put away according to criteria: transfer stock from pallet or trolley into the correct location, present the stock correctly to the location (either pick face or reserve) as per work instructions.
  • Complete replenishment tasks as directed by warehouse management team.
  • Where trained and tasked, complete short pick requests.

All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medical products for Human use (2013/C 343/01) which is reflected in our SOP –  1 NWOS GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.

General
  • Ensure tasks are always completed in line with designated Health and Safety policies. If unsure, do not act and raise with line manager.
  • Keep working areas clean and tidy.
  • Work effectively as part of the warehouse team.
  • Complete all reasonable requests as directed by warehouse management team.
