Warehouse Stock Controller

Alison Gray Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established company for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join their growing team in East Belfast! Pay:£17.53 per hour

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:40pm, flexibility required Your New Day to Day:
Lead, supervise, train, and motivate the components team to achieve daily operational targets. Monitor team performance and conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control, including cycle counts and stock takes. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation.

Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of components to support production. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse while ensuring accurate inventory movements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support the implementation of warehouse best practices. Promote a strong health and safety culture by ensuring safe material handling, reporting hazards, and complying with all relevant regulations.

What You Can Bring:
Experience using SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations. Experience leading or supervising a warehouse or stores team. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
