Are you an experienced warehouse leader ready to take ownership of a large-scale operation?
We're looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead a fast-paced, multi-temperature distribution environment, ensuring our people, processes and performance deliver exceptional service to customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational excellence.
This is a senior leadership role where you'll manage Warehouse Team Managers, influence depot-wide decisions and play a key part in shaping the future success of the operation.
Make a bigger impactAs Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse operation, balancing service, cost, productivity and people engagement.
Working closely with the wider depot leadership team, you'll use data, insight and strong commercial awareness to drive continuous improvement, develop future talent and create an environment where teams can perform at their best.
No two days are the same. You'll lead through change, solve complex operational challenges and ensure the warehouse continues to deliver outstanding results for both customers and colleagues.
What you'll be doing- Leading and developing Warehouse Team Managers and wider operational teams.
- Taking ownership of warehouse performance across safety, service, productivity and cost.
- Managing departmental budgets, resources and labour planning to meet operational demands.
- Using warehouse performance data and KPIs to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
- Creating a high-performing culture through coaching, engagement and development.
- Working closely with Transport, Sales, Finance, HR and Depot Leadership teams.
- Driving compliance across health and safety, food safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Leading operational change initiatives and embedding new ways of working.
- Managing recruitment, succession planning and talent development across the warehouse function.
- Ensuring stock accuracy, availability and operational efficiency remain at the highest standards.
- Identifying risks, resolving operational challenges and delivering sustainable improvements.
- Proven experience leading large warehouse or logistics operations.
- Experience managing managers and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and operational costs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working within a fast-paced distribution, logistics or supply chain environment.
- A track record of driving operational improvements and delivering against KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using operational data to support decision-making.
- The ability to balance customer service, safety, productivity and cost objectives.
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
