Job Description Job Purpose Working under the direction of the Distribution Centre Manager/Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in processing donated clothing and other donations across Oxfams donation streams. Your primary role will be to sort, grade, categorise, and prepare textiles for resale or recycling. Your work will help maximise quality items dispatched to our stores, reduce waste and carbon emissions whilst supporting Oxfams mission of helping those most affected by climate change.

Job Responsibilities Sort, grade, and categorise donated textiles (clothing, household textiles, accessories) by quality, type, seasonality, and resale potential. Identify higher value brands and items including rare and vintage pieces Separate unsellable textiles for recycling or upcycling. Process volumes efficiently, meeting daily/weekly throughput targets. Support loading/unloading of incoming textile stock. Support packing, tagging, labelling, and preparation for onward distribution to shops or resale channels.

Maintain clean, tidy, and safe sorting zones and workstations. Adhere to health & safety, manual handling, and quality standards at all times. Assist with ad hoc tasks or process improvements as directed by the Distribution Centre Manager. Other Eager and required to adhere to Oxfams principles and values () as well as the promotion of gender justice and women's rights ().

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required from time to time to perform other duties as deemed reasonable and necessary by the employer.
