Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a business on the appointment of a Warehouse Coordinator to support the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials and products. As Warehouse Coordinator, you will coordinate inbound deliveries, resolve supplier queries and maintain accurate stock records. Working with suppliers, transport providers and internal departments, you will help ensure materials are available and deliveries run to schedule.

The Warehouse Coordinator will contribute to inventory accuracy, timely goods receipt processing and improvements to warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate inbound deliveries and bookings, checking delivery documentation and purchase orders and recording goods receipts on the ERP system. Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery queries, shortages, damages and non-conforming goods, escalating issues that could affect production or customer deliveries. Maintain accurate ERP and warehouse records for stock movements, transfers and material locations. Support cycle counts and stock audits, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Monitor stock availability, flag potential shortages and ensure materials are stored correctly and clearly identified. Coordinate dispatch and transport requirements with carriers and logistics providers, supporting shipping and export documentation where required. Provide Procurement, Planning, Production and Customer Service teams with updates on stock availability and delivery schedules. Prepare warehouse reports and support monitoring of inventory accuracy, goods receipt accuracy, supplier delivery performance and dock-to-stock times.

Contribute to projects that improve warehouse processes, operational efficiency and compliance with audit requirements. Follow health, safety and environmental procedures, maintain housekeeping standards and participate in safety audits and risk assessments. What you will need to succeed as Warehouse Coordinator:
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or supply chain role, ideally in a manufacturing business. Experience using an ERP system such as Infor M3, SAP or similar. An understanding of inventory management processes, including stock movements, cycle counts and stock accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
