Overview /h3pA Director, Analytics and Business Insights (ABI) for APEMEA is responsible for identifying needs and opportunities related to ABI capabilities, and for the end‑to‑end delivery and maintenance of such capabilities. The role involves stakeholder management, cross‑functional collaboration, and creation of strategic and operational insights. The director manages the European analytics community, ABI priorities and pipeline, and plays a key role in developing best practices for other team members.

In addition to hands‑on work, the director engages in strategic thinking activities. /ppThe role enables participation in strategic and transformational analytics projects across APEMEA regions, providing a unique perspective into regional level strategies and operations. Responsibilities include full‑cycle ABI work from ideation through implementation, roll‑out, change management and ongoing maintenance. The director works closely with stakeholders to understand the impact of the team on Mastercard’s business and collaborates with the global network of data and analytics experts.

In This Position, You Will /h3ulli

Identify and formulate analytics needs and opportunities for business improvement via ABI /lili Design, develop and deploy new ABI capabilities working directly with business stakeholders /lili Manage stakeholder relationships /lili Develop and promote best practice operational procedures /lili Serve as a subject matter expert on ABI matters and their role in the company’s strategy /lili Perform data research and analysis at both operational and strategic levels and generate insights /lili Prepare business insight snippets and presentations /lili Perform change management around ABI capabilities /lili

Lead and participate in cross‑functional and cross‑regional projects /lili Manage European analytics and business insights community and pipeline /lili Support and own maintenance, update and enhancement of existing data capabilities (dashboards, ETL flows, semantic models, etc.) /lili Conduct data testing and data reconciliation /lili Conduct research on data tools and capabilities /lili Educate stakeholders on data tools and capabilities /lili Conduct data ETL (extract, transform, load) for various projects /lili Manage communications for the team at different levels, including the executive level /li /ulh3

All About You /h3pThe ideal candidate for this position should have the following profile and key requirements: /pulli

Proven experience in Business Intelligence and stakeholder management in matrix organizations /lili Experience in the payments industry or hybrid BI/business roles is a plus /lili Ownership‑driven, results‑oriented, comfortable with both strategic/design level and hands‑on tasks /lili Great collaborator and team player /lili
