We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and a hands‑on approach to work. This is a full‑time role.

The place of work is located at our office in Leuven or Ieper. Hybrid model up to 3 times a week.

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prepare payments to vendors, ensuring segregation of duties for compliance.
• Handle bank statement reconciliations, including payments to vendors and employees.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities and support senior finance and accounting colleagues with various tasks as needed.

• Ideally, you bring initial experience in accounting.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
• Independent and self‑motivated worker with a “can‑do” mentality.
• Strong integrity, high attention to detail, and a team‑oriented approach.
• Knowledge of European GAAP or familiarity with U.S. GAAP is a plus.
• Experience in an international setting or working as a subsidiary of a U.S. company is preferred.
• Complete Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related fields
