Transport Planner

This is a permanent, full-time daytime role, working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required during peak periods and offers an annual salary up to £29,500.00, depending on skills and experience.

Responsible for supporting the Transport Manager in providing a first-class client service by ensuring all vehicles arrive and depart on time, and that all administrative and support activities are completed accurately.

• Update daily dock plan and monitor vehicle movements
• Review forecasts to ensure capacity
• Liaise with carriers and resolve issues
• Coordinate between warehouse and customer service teams
• Plan UK/EU loads cost-efficiently
• Ensure compliance with transport procedures

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and office environments
• Adaptable with a hands-on approach to tasks
• Good geographical knowledge for route planning - preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in logistics and/or transport – preferred but not mandatory
