As a Construction Lead Supervisor (Ground Works), you will be responsible for managing all ground works activities on a major commercial construction site in Belgium. This includes excavation, foundation works, drainage systems, and underground utilities. You will ensure that operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications, timelines, and local regulations.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Supervising excavation, foundation laying, drainage installation, and underground services.
• Coordinating subcontractors and ground works teams to meet project schedules and safety standards.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and Belgian construction regulations.
• Enforcing health & safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
• Tracking daily progress, resolving issues proactively, and reporting to the project manager.
• Liaising with engineers, consultants, and client representatives.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of site activities, inspections, and materials.
• Ensuring environmental compliance and supporting sustainability goals.

We are looking for a candidate who brings:

• Proven experience in supervising ground works on large commercial construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in geotechnical engineering, excavation, and underground services.
• Familiarity with Belgian construction laws and environmental standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong asset.
• A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Safety certifications such as VCA or OSHA (preferred).
