In support of its growing customer- and asset portfolio, YUSO seeks to employ a Portfolio Manager
.

As a (Junior) Portfolio Manager at Yuso, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of renewable energy assets in short-term power markets. Your primary focus will be ensuring efficient operations while minimizing risks from forecasting errors.

In this role, you will monitor real-time data, track renewable energy production, and execute trades in response to market fluctuations. You will analyze trends, anticipate changes, and take action to optimize the portfolio’s financial and operational performance. This position requires strong analytical skills, adaptability, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You will be joining a team of young and highly motivated professionals that run YUSO’s portfolio operations around the clock. This job requires you to work during the weekend on a rotational basis, typically one weekend every three weeks during daytime.

• Interest in financial markets and trading.

• Experience or knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
• Energy markets and the energy transition
• Meteorology and forecasting
• Trading strategies
• Power asset management
• SQL, Python

You will be embedded in a team of young and highly motivated professionals with a mission to optimally integrate renewable energy sources into the existing electricity markets. You can work either from home or from our well-equipped offices in Waregem, West-Flanders, Belgium. In order to support your tasks as part of the shift, YUSO will foresee an adequate IT setup for your home office.
