As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the Engineering department, collaborating on electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36kV). You will be responsible for the technical implementation of projects as part of a multidisciplinary team, safeguarding the coherence and quality of designs and monitoring project functionality.
You will proactively detect the consequences of new concepts on project operations and take necessary actions to ensure successful implementation.
- Collaborate closely with Project Leaders and fellow Project Engineers, focusing on technical aspects of electrical infrastructure projects.
- Participate actively in all phases of the project process, from feasibility study to project closure.
- Serve as the key link between the design team, technical experts, and Project Leader.
- Contribute to the technical elaboration of project scope and design, conducting various technical studies.
- Guide the design team during the detail study phase, ensuring studies are carried out qualitatively and according to the agreed scope.
- Communicate and report on project progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure the coherence and quality of designs and monitor the functionality of projects.
- Proactively identify and address the impact of new concepts on project operations.
- Be on site 3 days a week, with the possibility to work remotely 2 days per week.
- Master’s degree in engineering, with a strong interest in electrical, electrotechnics, automation, and energy.
- Knowledge of electricity grids is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch; good understanding of French and English.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software.
- Analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with AI generative tools is a plus.
- Ability to adapt and learn in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑focused approach.
