RoleAs a Product Validation Engineer within our EMEA Development Centre, you will be involved in the development and testing of commercial air conditioning products, focusing primarily on the quality of the newest products.
Tasks- Analyse unit requirements, functionalities, and potential failure modes with the product department team to determine which tests and evaluation criteria the products must undergo.
- Determine the testing schedule autonomously while taking the global planning within and outside the EDC into account.
- Execute validation tests (structure, reliability, performance, sound, and safety); deeply analyse the test results and confirm that required criteria are met.
- Validate and verify the results of FEM simulations.
- Discuss test results with the product development team and play an active role in counter‑measure definitions.
- Gather data, visualise, and officialise the test report.
- Discuss interim results with management, diagnose issues, and ensure the setting up and implementation of action plans to identify and avoid bottlenecks.
- Report and confirm development quality status to senior management in design review meetings.
- Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in thermodynamics or energy systems.
- Hands‑on mentality and an analytical, quality‑driven mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
- Strong technical interest.
- Good understanding of analysis tools and methods.
- Team player driven to find solutions to challenging technical issues.
- Strong interest in the HVACR business and desire to actively contribute to the Green Deal goals.
- Ability to play an active role in projects and possess self‑discipline to draw up timetables, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of both spoken and written English is essential for this position.
- Open to recent graduates and candidates with experience.
