The Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial activities of the company in Belgium, including accounting, tax compliance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A). This hands-on role requires a balance of technical expertise and operational execution to support business objectives.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local standards.
• Manage relationships with external consultants for tax filings, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and tax documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and external accountants.

• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Deliver clear, data-driven financial insights and reporting for stakeholders.
• Track and analyze key operational and financial KPIs.
• Support strategic initiatives.

• Assist in managing cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and potential funding needs.

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Several years of relevant experience in controlling or finance management.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Strong track record in managing both accounting and FP&A functions.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and first experience with ERP.
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
