About You

Summary of the Role: We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations and Investigations expert to join our team in the EMEA region. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining employee relations and promoting a positive work environment.

Reporting to: Employee Relations Investigations and Excellence EMEA Leader.

About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Employee Relations Investigations:

  • Assess complaints and determine scope and nature of investigations.
  • Conduct thorough, objective investigations into employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace concerns, to identify evidence, reach findings and outcomes, recommend resolutions, and mitigate risks to the business within required time frames.
  • Create clear, robust investigation reports and deliver them according to applicable requirements.
  • Support development of training programs related to investigations.

Case Management:

  • Handle a wide range of ER cases, from routine issues to complex and sensitive matters, including people leader coaching, performance management, grievance management, disciplinary management.
  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on ER matters.
  • Develop strong relationships with HR business partners, HCC, legal counsel, and other relevant stakeholders in the country or cross‑country.
  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to address and resolve employee relations concerns effectively.

Compliance and Excellence:

  • Stay informed about local employment laws and regulations to ensure all investigations and practices align with legal requirements.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in ER investigations and case management throughout the region.
  • Implement best practices, skills, processes, and tools for ER work, ensuring continuous improvement and high standards.
About Your Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in law, human resources, or related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree/master or certification in Employee Relations preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in HR, focusing on employee and/or labour relations topics.
  • Proven experience managing relationships and collaborating with parties in sensitive matters.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement and process excellence.

Skills:

  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations in your country.
  • Commitment to fairness and integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, managing multiple cases simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English (required). Dutch and French (required).
