Job Overview

We're searching for a talented Lead Data Engineer to join our SMARTLINK IoT Fleet Management team. If you're passionate about building robust and scalable data‑driven solutions and love the challenge of working with cutting‑edge technology, this role is perfect for you!

You will be a key player in designing, building and maintaining IoT fleet monitoring and alerting services that are a core foundation for our ISO
27001‑certified state‑of‑the‑art SMARTLINK IoT platform, with over 300,000 connected devices and 100,000 users worldwide. This includes building scalable data pipelines to provide insights and enable data‑driven decision‑making to optimize the overall connectivity of our fleet of sensors and IoT gateways.

Throughout the process, you will collaborate closely with embedded hardware and software engineers, solution architects and the Dev Sec Ops  team to create performant, scalable, and reliable solutions and stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and industry best practices.

• Solid experience in data engineering, SQL, Python, data modelling, BI principles and dimensional modelling, data visualization
• Expertise with technologies such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Rabbit
  
  MQ, Apache Kafka, MCP
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams
• Detail‑oriented, technology‑savvy, and passionate about quality
• Eager to learn and continuously improve
